Melissa Trevvett, CRL Vice President and Director of Programs and Services, has accepted a new position as Executive Director of the Boston Library Consortium. During her nearly ten years at CRL, she played a key role in implementing new digital services, enhancing and expanding discoverability and delivery of CRL collections, and print archives planning.
Appointed to her CRL role by Beverly Lynch in 2000, Melissa reorganized and focused acquisitions and technical services, directed implementation of CRL’s digitization program, and expanded ILL and document delivery by bringing CRL into the Rapid Document Delivery, ArticleReach, and Borrow Direct programs. She has also been a valuable envoy to the larger collection development community through her work with the Collections and Services Policy Committee and as CRL’s representative to the ALA Chief Collection Development Officers group.
CRL wishes Melissa much success and fulfillment in her new role.
