Event Logistics
A major benefit of CRL membership is participation in our cooperative purchase programs. Through these programs, CRL libraries identify valuable collections for CRL acquisition; recent purchases include Comintern Archives: Files of the Communist Party of Japan, Doctoral Dissertations from Israel, Church Missionary Society Archive Section VII Pts 1 & 2, Confidential U.S. State Department Central Files: Biafra-Nigeria, 1967-1969, and Shanghai Political and Economic Reports 1842-1943: British Government Records from the International City.
In this informative Webinar, Member Liaison and Outreach Services Director Mary Wilke explains how CRL libraries can participate in collection building through the various programs CRL offers for cooperative acquisitions. Discussion will include expanded options for acquiring licensed online materials. Digital Programs Manager Virginia Kerr will describe new online resources available through CRL’s partnership with the Law Library Microfilm Consortium: LLMC-Digital.
This event is free for librarians and researchers at CRL institutions.
CRL presents quarterly Webinars at 1:00 p.m. (CT) on the second Wednesday in January, April, July, and October. The January and July Webinars focus on special subject areas in CRL collections. The April and October Webinars feature CRL services to users and how-to information for recently enrolled institutions and new staff at CRL libraries. CRL also schedules other special-topic Webinars throughout the year.
