SAMP acquires Ceylon Times, 1863–1907

The South Asia Microform Project (SAMP) has acquired microfilm of the Ceylon Times for the period 1863–1907. The Ceylon Times was founded in 1846, becoming Times of Ceylon in 1883 as an evening daily. It was widely read by British officials and merchants as well as Ceylon’s elite.
