Reception and Cocktails Remarks by Dr. Earl Lewis, Provost and Executive Vice President for Academic Affairs at Emory University. Dr. Lewis will discuss the role of early American newspapers and related primary source materials preserved by CRL in his production of two major books dealing with the historical imagination: In Their Own Interests: Race, Class and Power in Twentieth-Century Norfolk, Virginia (University of California Press, 1993) and Love on Trial: An American Scandal in Black and White (W.W.Norton, 2003). |

CRL Forum: Global Resources and CRL 2010 CRL’s strategic agenda for 2007-2010 emphasizes strategic print management, achieving persistent access to critical electronic resources, and digital delivery of international source materials. CRL Forum presentations will focus on three key parts of this agenda, outlining how we propose to address questions this agenda poses.
