The Center for Research Libraries (CRL), an international consortium of academic and research libraries, is excited to announce the launch of its new website, debuting on Friday, January 31, 2025. This milestone reflects CRL’s ongoing commitment to advancing global research by providing seamless access to its extensive resources.
The redesigned website, powered by the EBSCO Stacks platform, introduces a host of new features to enhance user experience. With an intuitive interface and streamlined navigation, the platform makes it easier than ever for researchers, students, and librarians to explore CRL’s digital resources, rich collections, and collaborative initiatives. Designed with accessibility and usability in mind, the site ensures a welcoming and efficient experience for all users.
The new site reflects a collaborative effort led by Lindsay Symes, CRL’s UX and Web Design Librarian, who worked closely with staff across departments to update and refine content. This teamwork ensures the website aligns with the evolving needs of CRL’s diverse community and provides accurate, relevant, and engaging information. To ensure the website continues to meet the needs of its diverse user base, Lindsay will be hosting community focus groups in the coming months to gather feedback on the site’s content and functionality. This feedback will help CRL refine and enhance the user experience even further.
CRL extends its sincere appreciation to the EBSCO Stacks team for their invaluable partnership and support throughout this transformative project. Together, we have built a platform that embodies CRL’s mission to advance knowledge and research.
Mark your calendars and explore the new website at www.crl.edu starting January 31!
