The University of Sheffield (UK) is the newest international member of CAMP (Cooperative Africana Microform Project). CAMP, founded in 1963, is a joint effort by research libraries throughout the world and the Center for Research Libraries (CRL) to promote the preservation of publications and archives concerning the nearly fifty nations of Sub-Saharan Africa. International membership allows institutions abroad to access CAMP’s microfilm collections (provided they support the costs of shipping).
CRL’s cooperative programs enhance the abilities of CRL libraries to identify, access, and preserve valuable source materials for scholarly research.
