Ghana’s largest newspaper, the Daily Graphic was founded in 1950. This state-owned daily claims circulation of about 180,000 copies per issue. Since constitutional revisions in 1992 guaranteeing media freedom, the Daily Graphic has had to compete with several independent newspapers, and the media climate in country has steadily improved.
