The Railroad Collection contains hard copy annual reports, timetables, tariffs, and promotional materials of U.S. and foreign railroads. The earliest dates of publication for these materials are the 1840s, with the bulk of the collection from the post-Civil War period through the 1930s. The collection is small, occupying 336 linear feet of shelf space, and runs are incomplete for any one company. There are reports from approximately 700 companies in the collection.
