Since 2010, CRL and LLMC's Global Resources Law Partnership has vastly expanded access to U.S. State and Candian Province legislative resources. 

CRL's Global Resources Law Partnership, now renewed through 2020, will preserve and provide digital access to rich source materials on law, government and civil society. 

TRAIL welcomes new members Johns Hopkins University and the Colorado School of Mines.

The TRAIL collection now contains more than 61,500 federal technical reports, including over 4.5 million pages of content.

The Law Library Microform Consortium (LLMC) has assembled from various sources and digitized an extensive collection of early laws, codes, and jurisprudence published in Africa from as early as 1698. This work was supported by CRL's partnership with LLMC, which funds digitization of collections of interest to CRL libraries and augments CRL collection strengths in area and international studies.

CRL's new focus on digitization of Latin American materials has begun to expose a wealth of resources for cultural and political studies.

TRAIL has completed digitization of the Research and Development Progress Reports issued by the Office of Saline Waters between 1955 and 1972. The technical reports issued by the Office of Saline Waters are valuable research resources for the study of topics including thermodynamics and water resource policy.

LLMC is digitizing Cuban legal materials, increasing access to Cuba's legal patrimony.

Four institutions recently joined TRAIL (the Technical Report Archive & Image Library).  TRAIL identifies, acquires, catalogs, digitizes and provides unrestricted access to U.S. government agency technical reports.

CRL's project to digitize documentation from ten African and Persian Gulf countries where the integrity of the public record is at risk has exceeded targets, and exposes collections never before accessible to North American scholars.

TRAIL is in the top 25 of HathiTrust content contributors, with more than 39,000 volumes of technical reports originally published by the US Government.

LLMC, through its partnership with CRL, recently completed the digitization of the full set of New York state Senate and Assembly Journals.

TRAIL (the Technical Report Archive & Image Library) now has over 1 million pages of content in the University of North Texas Digital Library.

CRL's digitization of foreign official gazettes will expose imrpotant documentation of non-transparent and "corrupt" governments. 

CRL recently reached a milestone: over six million pages of digitized pages scanned iin response to scholars’ requests for loan are now available to all CRL member institutions.

TRAIL will now collect U.S. government technical reports from all years, doing away with the 1975 cutoff it had previously used.  Following a recent vote of the membership, the TRAIL Bylaws were amended to allow for personal memberships.

Marianne Mason, the TRAIL project's Member Representative from the University of Iowa, has been appointed to the Depository Library Council.

CRL and LLMC's ongoing work to scan house and senate assembly journals from all 50 states have resulted in a rich trove of resources for historical and legal study.

LLMC (Law Library Microform Consortium) has digitized a collection of early legal publications from Myanmar (Burma).  The material covers 1872-1955.

This year’s annual Global Resources Collections Forum, to be webcast in April from the Linda Hall Library in Kansas City, will feature new developments in CRL acquisitions and licensing.
