E-7317 This set includes reproductions of some 400,000 pages of historical material selected from the archives of the Japanese Army and Navy Ministries and a small collection from the archives of the Home Ministry and from other Japanese government agencies. Most of the documents deal with events in Eastern Asia between 1900 and 1945. Included are reports on Korean uprisings against Japan in 1919, on the Mukden Incident in 1931 and subsequent events in Manchuria, on the Nomonhan Incident in 1939, and the military chronicles of the Reign of the Meiji Emperor, 1868-1912.
