The CRL Board of Directors is pleased to announce the new Global Collections Advisory Task Force. The Global Collections Advisory Task Force will actively engage CRL community stakeholders and gather membership feedback as we move forward with CRL’s reinvestment in its longstanding mission to collectively build, preserve, and share global collections at scale in service to scholarship.

The Task Force consists of six members, representing the CRL Board of Directors and CRL leadership from the Collections Services and Policy Committee (CSPC) and the International Collections and Content Group (ICCG), as well as key CRL staff leaders, ensuring robust community engagement and direction of this important work. The CRL Executive Committee considered the background and experience of current CRL leaders, as well as their committee positions and term lengths, to ensure these leaders can provide continuity and support to the process even beyond the term of this task force.

Our gratitude and thanks to the following members who have agreed to serve on the implementation advisory task force:

  • Diane Bruxvoort, University of North Texas (CRL Board of Directors)
  • Devin Savage, Illinois Institute of Technology (CRL Board of Directors)
  • Kristina Rose, New York University (CRL Collections Services and Policy Committee)
  • Qiana Johnson, Dartmouth College (CRL Collections Services and Policy Committee)
  • Brian Vivier, University of Pennsylvania (CRL International Collections and Content Group)
  • Guy Burak, New York University (CRL International Collections and Content Group)
  • Kevin Merriman, Director of Global Collections (CRL staff)
  • Amy Wood, Director of Discovery and Technology (CRL staff)
