This quarterly webinar will report on the current status of major CRL initiatives and programs. Presentations will focus on three areas:
2:00-2:30 p.m. CST Shared Print: Scholars Trust Collection Analysis Recording
CRL staff will discuss recent activities relating to its support of cross-collection analysis of print serials among the libraries of Scholars Trust. The Scholars Trust is an agreement among the Association of Southeastern Research Libraries (ASERL) and the Washington Research Library Consortium (WRLC) to combine the contents of their respective print journal archives under a single retention and access agreement. The analysis aims to inform future retention decisions and related collection development and management decisions.

2:30-3:00 p.m. CST Global Collections Update: Expanding Online Resources Recording
Highlighting notable collections made accessible online as part of the the initial phase of the Mellon-funded Global Collections Initiative (2016-2019), and noting areas for further development.

3:00-3:30 p.m. CST Global Collections Update: Leveraging Access Through Partnerships Recording
Building on the activities and discussions within the Global Collections Initiative partnership, staff will update members on CRL's evolving approach toward supporting efforts by nonprofit, commercial, and university-based initiatives that favor open access and transparency for databases.
