CRL holds a collection of material filmed from the Österreichisches Staatsarchiv (Austrian State Archives) concerning foreign relations between Austria and other states. Contents include diplomatic reports, instructions, and varia. Material is organized chronologically, though sections also include special thematic folders (such as Prussian affairs in West Africa, the Anglo-Portuguese conflict of 1889–91, or Russian-Ukrainian affairs in 1918).
